Booker Takes Nathan's SSS Qualifier

Competitive eating star Eric Badlands Booker consumed 30.5 hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes to win the Nathan's Famous qualifier at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan.

Booker was hailed by the crowd as he mounted the stage for a little free-form rap from his second album, The Ingestion Engine. Booker then laid down a beat for George Shea, who went old school with "Say a Little Prayer" by Burt Bacharach.

Booker's mark matched his personal record and places him close to the center of table for the Coney Island show-down on Tuesday.

Rookie IFOCE host Eddie Dunn was on stage.
